Ok, i finished 14. But it feels a bit anti climactic. But i'm tired and work is stressful this week, too.

I got to 14, but still need to finish and post the demos for my last 3. I feel mostly good about it. There's a lot of filler and songs that I don't like so much, but I see it as the point of FAWM to get that kind of stuff out of your system and let the good songs have a chance to come out. I'll definitely try to revisit at least 3 or 4 of them after some time.

Yep, we finished it on time too. I think my songwriting has improved a lot since playing with Hoglen. Just need to get better at recording. :)

I just did a fawmcast and played songs by, amongst others, Zinkline, Heuristics Inc and Balance Lost. I am also rude about parts of England, Cliff Richard and surprisingly complimentary about Arsenal FC. Go check it out (it's archived) http://www.blogtalkradio.com/fawm/2011/ ... h-8th-2011 i think is the link. 60 minutes of cashpoint wittery goodness!

Warning, cheap 64kps makes some songs a little wobbly. It's like the early days of Songfight all over again!

Not sure I'll have time this go around. :( Got a performance coming up, brewing beer as often as possible, and gotta start the vegetable garden seedlings soon. Where does all the time go!?

Sweet! I've got a fake stout brewing (it'll be a brown probably) and Hoprechaun Red (a hoppy red) in bottles, and I'm brewing Hoprechaun Red again this Sunday. Hope to open a nanobrewery this year or next.

I am 100% in for FAWM 2012. I'm wondering if I should have a "thing" (not one word, BLT). Last year I had a theme of fixed-form poetry and that worked out really well as an idea-generator. Anyone else heading into FAWM with a plan?
