Huh. Apparently I missed that. Sorry. Makes no difference for the ranking, though.

No. The immunizable rounds are over.frankie big face wrote:Does this mean I have immunity?
I would have called them the immunitational rounds.jast wrote:No. The immunizable rounds are over.frankie big face wrote:Does this mean I have immunity?
(Hey look I invented a new word)
I was going for the disharmonic definition of cacophony, and that left panned guitar definitely does not mesh well. So, does that mean you don't like my lyrics or you do? I answered in IRC, but for all the folks out there, I used a retrigger effect on the drums from dBlue Glitch. Also, distortion, lots of it. And ZeroCrossing maximizer.jast wrote:Manhattan Glutton: This is a better try at cacophony. I think it's still a bit too structured, but it works almost as well as "real" cacophony. Lyrics are stupid, right? This whole thing is kind of cool, though, and the destructified sound is awesome. Not something I'd voluntarily listen to twice, though... it's "interesting", but only once. And even then possibly half of it is plenty. What did you do to the hat? It sounds horrible. Which I guess was the point, but I'm curious anyway.

No, but he says "he needs his meds and he needs a nap" which I would think implies more a medical drug use than recreational, also a female voice echoes this phrase, possibly a staff member, which is meant to suggest he is in an institution. Too subtle, I guess?jast wrote:I don't quite see how the word "patient" relates to this song. Just because someone takes drugs he isn't necessarily a patient, right?
Doesn't imply that to me. Anyhow, that was a smaller thing that didn't influence my decisions very much.Geoff WreckdoM wrote:No, but he says "he needs his meds and he needs a nap" which I would think implies more a medical drug use than recreational
There were so many voices in there, I stopped trying to make sense of what they were for.also a female voice echoes this phrase, possibly a staff member, which is meant to suggest he is in an institution. Too subtle, I guess?
