No begging from me, my remake is in. Acidic sang my original 'Elvis in Space' & he's still there in the outro (the only original part I kept.) Never made it in to the Original Fight.

But I remember wanting to vote for it. Hmmmm ....

Had it posted in the Review Thread. Learned my lesson about properly tagging files that day.

The Hell Yeahs' entry is in!

PERFECT FOR THE LANDFILLS!

This is a perfect 'fight for The Landfills, seeing as how I've only ever managed to record 3 songs, and just keep cycling between them! *smile*

The Landfills are in. Laptopcore is in the house... or, at least, the yard barn near the house-- with the rake.

Ok I have like five entries, so I'm extending the deadline to EOD JUNE 18. That's a saturday, so you can procrastinate until then and work all day on it and send it in before Sunday morning and still be fine.

If you five (you know who you are) want me to post your entries early, I guess it would be fair, but if you don't care I'll just hold off until we see if anybody else is coming.

JB (planning to take advantage of the extension himself)

I was going to try to rush something to make the 6/1 deadline, but then I thought what's the point of doing another rushed version of one of my tunes. This gives me a second chance, but only if I get right to work on it. I'll try to do so.

I had put together (and sent in) a re-do of my "Waiting Takes Time" song, but I'm also working on a re-do of my "Brown Boxes," so I'll probably try to finish that up and submit it instead... won't necessarily be any better than the WTT would have been, but it'll be more of an improvement on the original...

You may submit more than once to this competition if you wish, Charles.

awww man! I had convinced myself I just didn't have time to do this, so I didn't even bother starting. But I'm having a hard time convincing myself not to try since there is an extension....

I might have to do this. Thanks for the hope (and two weeks of guaranteed procrastination...). :)

Glad I stayed up late last night. Didn't get finished anyway. Thanks.

I concur.

I suppose I could finish up the other one I was working on as an alternate...

Heather, if you want, I'd love a sneak preview (via pm)

Oh, cool, I'll actually have my new mic by then (did you know Amazon has now partnered with Musicians Friend? MXL 990 for $60!), not to mention time and the ability to bum recording space off of Spud.

I thought Spud had the barn demolished ... ???

Yes, and of course the barn is the only possible place in Seattle to record music.

I do have a temporary recording setup at home. I did bass and some vox for "I forgot to remember", otherwise known as "circle of life".

I'm sure you also meant to remember the title. ;)
