Now hold on a minute! Paul the Drummer is not a guest. He is a lifetime member of Frankie Big Face. He has been playing in the FBF band off and on since 2001. And the Slave Labor Choir certainly weren't guests either. I paid them in $1.00 ice cream cones, well below the PA State minimum wage. And while they were here, I didn't even offer them a beverage. No sir, they were not my guests, they were labor--says so right in their name.

Plus, why don't I get to use everyone within a 60-mile radius just like all those Berkeley-based bands without having to call them "guests"? HUH??????

In other news, my song is done which is why I have time to abuse you on the boards.

Oh no! Idiot King is leaving the challenge, Caravan Ray's computer pooped, Chocolate Chips has allergies... the competition is startin' to heat up.

I am terribly excited to hear the rest of the songs. This was a super fun tune to work on, in fact we've been having a Nur Ein blowout over here!!!

And Geoff complimented his disgusting vulgarity by buying us a round of ice cream.

Yeeee hawww!

You have 48 minutes. Just send whatever you have, and send a revised version if you come through after. :)
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

BYD is in. I think I can honestly say I don't think y'all will expect this entry from us. But we had a blast doing it, and have much love for the music. Good luck, everyone!!

I'm in, featuring a new friend Samuel Peart as a second vocalist. It's a big ambitious mess of a song, and I hope y'all like it.

Sorry. Uncalled-for.

I was just celebrating giving up on my mix with a little wine.

I'm in. I think the third mix is better, but two of my alteregos think the second one is. I sent a "oh god ignore me" email to the Nur Ein police saying to take the second mix, but I am now incapable of rational thought because maybe the third one is better???:/ :) (flarg). This is either the grooviest thing I've done - or the silliest, I have no idea. It's only half a song, but it's a really STRONG half in my opinion and I really like it. I think it's sort of cute. It's definitely a sketch. If I go out, it will be with a disorganized POW and I have no regrets :)

I I won't be able to post lyrics until this evening, I'm writing this on the bus at 5:56 am on my way to work because while I'm in the middle of packing & moving all my stuff across town OF COARSE my brakes go out. Ug. Well if god loves a weirdo, and I bet she does, I'll be back on wheels before Wednesday, and back to spending every free moment dusting, packing, moving and nur ein'in. Hopefully we get cut before I have a stroke.

Wow everyone! Good stuff. Just had a preview, some delicious tracks!

My apologies for the volume of the WSA track. It seems to be a lot quieter than all the rest. Please turn it up and enjoy!

It has happened. I have laughed at a Boffo Yux Dudes song.
