I love wu-tang. I'm not paying $30 to listen to their album. As artists, I suppose they can do whatever they want... I think it's kinda dumb.

AC/DC officially calling it quits. I still remember sitting in my room learning every song on the Back in Black album. I must have played that album for 2 months straight. I saw them at Anaheim Stadium. They rocked, naturally.

^ hold that thought! Might be one of these newfangled interwebz rumors. I should have know when SPIN didn't mention it! Oh whale, here's this for a an evening chill. Dig it.
Jack White's new vinyl album is full of nifty. Holograms, center to outside edge play, double grooves within a song that plays either acoustic or electric versions of the same song, hidden songs, locking grooves, etc. Check it out.

This is brilliant! A band on spotify told fans to play their new silent track over and over while they sleep so they get a good geographical idea of where to play on their tour and they do free shows. http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/08/showbiz/v ... ify-album/
Spotify pays about a half cent per play. They made around 20k from it and did as promised with free concerts. I like this story.
That article seems to have disappeared. From the URL I'm guessing it's about unreleased stuff on Aphex Twin's soundcloud or something.
Also holy cow is EW's site badly-designed. I kept on clicking on things that looked like search boxes only to be taken to pages which weren't search pages.

Something happened to EW's website today, it's all out of whack.
Ah, interesting. I noticed one of the user239480284208342048 whatevers following the official Aphex Twin soundcloud account. I'll have to grab the crap out of this stuff.
