There are three types of people in the world:
Those who love Ween, those who haven't heard Ween, and those who are idiots.

one review hit it right on the head: every time ani releases an album, it's a reason to get excited about music all over again.

The Young Knives - 'Voices Of Animals And Men' - their new album. Cool! Should you want to, you can watch the video for my favourite song on the album, 'The Decision',
here
Kraftwerk - 'Autobahn'. The song, not the album, on repeat. Fun, fun, fun.

(Just kidding. We can agree to disagree on this one.)
You may not have good taste in music
(neither do i), but your "George Lucas" is still brilliant.

Jucifer's Calling All Cars on the Vegas Strip which is an insane blend of sludgey doomy metal and power pop, Mark Mulcahy's smilesunset (the guy from Miracle Legion and the guy who did the soundtrack for Pete and Pete), and right this instant, Earth's "Living in the Gleam of an Unsheated Sword," which is amazing.

I downloaded Horse The Band's
Pizza EP from Emusic this weekend. 5 hardcore-metal-n-punk-ish songs about pizza, this EP is having a similar effect on me as the Bagel song had on Glenn. Plus it keeps me wide awake.

Nice! It didn't have the same effect on me as the Bagel song, but it's pretty good anyway.
Oddly enough I am eating a sandwich with peanut butter on the top half, and raspberry preserves on the bottom half. Not as GOOD as a bagel, but it will do.
In other news, What am I listening to? Well, I will let you know on a day to day basis in three places:
<a href="http://glenncase.blogspot.com">Blogger</a>
<a href="http://drfunk49.livejournal.com">Livejournal</a>
<a href="
http://blog.myspace.com/glenncase">Myspace Profile</a>
I intend to continue for a maximum of 10,000 songs. That is 27 years and 145 days if I don't miss a day. (And, I will probably miss at LEAST one day, if not several.)
Yeah, I know that my chances for failure are GREAT for this new venture. You don't have to tell me, because I know it's true. I'm going to attempt it anyway.
ROCK!

Me, I've been listening to
X-Tokyo River God's "Rhymes With Lucia" which has brilliant guitars and amazing vocals.

I've been listening to The Libertines a lot lately. Especially their self-titled.

I've just listened to Radiodread's cover of 'OK Computer' so many times, I'm almost sick of it:

Really cool idea, anyways....
Oh, and speaking of the Dan (and covers), I found the soundtrack to the Jim Carey movie "Me, Myself and Irene" which has some interesting covers by various bands. I particularly like Wilco's version of "Any Major Dude".

I love the Easy Star All* Stars. (Radiodread is the album name. They also did a Pink Floyd cover album called Dub Side Of The Moon). I think my favorite so far is "Let Down".

Oops! Yeah...I'm exhausted and stupid. I like "Let Down" too, but I think it's my fav off the original album anyway; melancholic and beautiful. Toots does it justice with his rootsy stylings. The one I keep going back to (even though I'm sick of the original) is Karma Police - that voice (citizen cope) is so earthy, and still a little warbly. All the tracks are so tasteful, restrained, and really highlight the wonderful melodies.
Just listened to "Money" from Dubside. Genius!!!! Using bonghit samples instead of the cash registers...I'm blown away.
