I was wondering if people wanted to do one this year. I know it's tradition but people had been a bit quiet so I've kinda sat back and waited. But if the people want it, I'm in.

Note- I've had some issues as of late with my personal website. So GOM would need a new home. Hopefully a more permanent home.

Yeah, of course we should do it. It's a highlight of the year. I can host it if necessary, although maybe something tied to SF would be better.

Okay. I took the question marks off the title. Let's do this thing.

Here we go:

1. Post in this thread that you'd like to take part.

2. Post a list of 4 songs (not your own songs or SF songs) that you would like to hear someone cover.
(Links to the songs are very helpful)

3. On 12/2/15, I collect all the entrant's names and put them in a hat.
(That's not too far away, get a move on!)

4. You are given the name of one of the other entrants.
5. Find their list and pick a song and cover it. Keep it hush hush, this is a Secret Santa.

6. Send the cover to "iamniveous" at Gmail. Deadline is 1/11/16.

7. After the deadline, I will post them all the songs on a website.

8. Post-Holiday joy ensues and tradition endures. All hail the GOM (like a mighty glow cloud).

This was one my assignments last year and, believe it or not, I still intend to do it. Which may seem completely hollow at this point. In fact, the original plan was to eschew submitting a list this year and commit to that one instead.

But I really don't want to not submit a list. So the new plan is to pull double duty this year, and if that song gets covered twice, so be it.
