I'M LEAVING FOREVER !! :-(

No, not from Songfight, but from New York, as I have gotten a job in Seattle.
For those of you in or near NYC who wanted to meet up with me before I leave for Seattle, I'm having a little get-together at the Limerick Pub on 23rd street (between 5th and 6th avenue, across from the Outback Steakhouse) next Tuesday (the 24th) at 7PM.

Guess I'll have to meat Niveous and Lonbobby some other time... Boston maybe?
Anyway. Nice to end my free time in New York on a positive note. :)

Nah, Seattle. My lease is up in April and I'm gonna try to save up all year.

one year. It was just up, but like I said, I couldn't go now like I wanted to but will make plans all year to leave by the time my new lease is up.

Heh, I guess I've only ever been on one apartment lease which extended past its initial term, and it just went month-to-month. More like a phone contract than a typical lease, I guess.

I actually went month to month for two months before deciding to sign another year away. I've lived in this apartment for about three years now. I lived two doors down for another year and a half before that. *SMILEY* I'm gonna miss Tampa...but I can't wait to get out of here at the same time.
It'll be a long year.

I felt the same way about Las Cruces, really. If I'd managed to find a decent job there I'd probably still be living there. Honestly, I liked Cruces way the hell more than NYC.
