I was high enough last week to believe people were mean to me, so I'm not impressed with this week's selection of titles.
Actually I am.

Welcome aboard! I am very much hoping that Johnny in the Corner will be making their return in 'Mean to Me' with a cute little 60s Kinks-esque number ... dare I even dream that it could be a Molsen Twins song, should our lovely, over-worked Canadian drummer had some time this weekend??????

we should rename the band to "the pointless posters". we are top 3 after all.
hehe...or we could just call ourselves "The Finger"

Shelly's cuzz will be returning this week, with something less painful to the ears.
I really like this set of titles.

I'm finding it hard to think of anything for "Mean to Me" that isn't already the song from
Ain't Misbehavin'.
lyrics to that.

Oh, he'll
TELL you he can drum on it. He's always got time to do that. It's the actual drumming that falls through the cracks.
(There's been some confusion as to my Leaf-related posts. For the record, I'm an old friend who's just ribbing him.)

Alright, I'm in. After sitting the sidelines for a while and enjoying everyone's submissions, I've decided to try my hand at this Song Fight thing this week. Barring any further hardware problems, I should be submitting my debut fight song 'High Enough' this weekend. Good luck to all the combatants, and try to take it easy on the new guy. Fight On!

I had a dub reggae ditty set up this week for Mean to Me. On Wednesday, I got around to listening to some of the Feet fight; Caravan Ray's is fantastic. Then I read the reviews; few people seem to love the genre.
Nothing like coming a week late to the party in a style people don't dig, but I don't know if I'll have time to rethink.

what are you, a slave to 'public opinion'?

Bring it, man.
I love reggae (although I didn't go overboard for CR's this time round). Check out some Johnny in the Corner (Quentin Tarantino specifically) for some white-man punk-reggae.
As it happens looks like JitC are gonna be in MtM as well, although not with a reggae tune ....

Cheers Mike - don't worry about the others - I've become used to their appalling lack of taste

If I did that I'd never get around to writing and recording songs

Are they the annoying girlies off the telly? I've always wondered what they smell like.
