It is optional. You don't have to fill in the blank. See our "Color Me ______" Nur Ein entry.

I may or may not have gone down a YouTube rabbit hole of several episodes of the old school game show 'Password' with Allen Ludden from 1963, special recurring guest Betty White. No idea what that means for song writing this week, but it was time well spent.

At my house we get a gameshow channel over the rabbit ears (no cable or dish at my place in 26 years). 'Password' is on in the evening and I dig it.

I have a non-gameshow related idea and time to try it, so I'm hoping to be in!! if not, it failed. ha.

Man, I really wanted to do one, but I just couldn't work up the motivation. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I just wasn't feeling the lyrics I wrote.

Ugh. I've been writing this damn song and trying to record it and it turns out it just doesn't sound very good which is really disappointing because I really like one of the guitar lines and also that it's about the Mando and I like the way I incorporated the prompt.

so channel rage and make a fist / we'll show 'em what the password is...

I'm on the opposite boat, I think my song *sounds* fine, other than having issues getting the bass to sit in the mix right. But lyrics? I've got a chorus and still have no clue what I'm gonna do for the verses. Guess this'll probably be a "type a bunch of lyrics into google docs and only use the ones that don't sound like garbage" fight.

My life has been a little crazy with moving to a new city, my wife starting a new job, and expecting a new baby soon. I've watched a lot of titles come and go, but for this one I actually managed to write a simple little song and then invited a friend to play violin and recorded us in my living room. She transformed the song into something really cool, I think. We are in as Levenhagen-Sommersmith.

I got a new Macbook Pro, so I tried out the internal mics by making an entry for this fight.
