Tools for composing and synching a soundtrack to video

What do people here use for this? I am doing a project where the video is done.
I'm composing music to the video, which needs to be perfectly aligned with various visual aspects in the video. So if my timeline is running, I need to be frame-accurate.
Any suggestions welcome.

Logic has this stuff built in, doesn't it? I haven't used it heavily, so I'm not sure what extent the integration is, but I have edited an existing soundtrack with the video window open in Logic.

Yeah, Logic has a scoring mode. It isn't *great* but it works well enough. I've used it for scoring a few animations, and you can set the snapping to be frame-based rather than measure/beat/tick based.
