I went expecting a mediocre action movie, and instead got the funniest movie I've seen in forever. I thought Jolie and Pitt had great chemistry; After watching SWIII I'm glad to see a screen couple with ANY chemistry. A

I can't figure out why this movie is getting panned by many reviewers. It's so likeable.

Well I think part of the panning I would give it is the marketing job. It was billed as a hot and steamy, but it never really came across that way to me.

The movie was good, but it was more funny and cute to me than hot and steamy.

MTV hires SNL's writers away from the show to write an action movie version of War of the Roses. Blargh, I must disagree with the above. Camera work was inconsistent (different styles for the same damned shots), the action sequence blocking and choreography wasn't about the action, but about the stars' movie poster shots.

As a movie it had just enough really sweet sequences (minivan chase, specifically) to make a rocking extended trailer.

They've seen the signature John Woo shot enough times, damnit. They should be able to get the timing of it right (the guns out face to face confrontation shot) by now. Sheesh!

I just watched this and I'm more with Rabid. For a movie that probably wasn't supposed to make any sense, it made even less sense than I expected, too. Like in the end, they just kill all those goons in the HomeDepot, and so then there isn't a price on their heads anymore or something? Huh? Anyway, I guess by then I just didn't care anymore about it. C

It sound like crap to me but I'm gonna watch it only because of the most beautiful couple of all time.
