If anyone’s looking for an online book subscription service (in addition to supporting your local book shops and libraries), the excellent book club Life’s Library has just opened up their subscriptions until Monday. Life’s Library is a curated book club set up by author John Green and Rosianna Halse Rojas (and occasionally guest contributors), and the focus is on books you might have missed or overlooked. All profits from this book club go to the Partners In Health charity and their efforts to curb maternal mortality in Sierra Leone. So you get to support a good cause and read a good book every six weeks. Win/win!

I was interested, but looks like they’re already sold out of the physical subscription.

I'm watching a livestream right now, and they didn't expect to sell out so quickly. They've added more and you should be able to order now. :)

For the record, they only open up subscriptions a couple of times a year so that they can co-ordinate with publishers most efficiently and have enough books, while maximising the amount of money donated to Partners in Health.
