The Song Fight Bulletin Board

For those in the US or from the US and celebrating Thanksgiving today— happy Thanksgiving.

On this day, some families have a tradition of forcing their family members to verbally state something they’re thankful for before they are allowed to eat dinner.

So in that spirit I’d like to say, I’m thankful for Song Fight. It, and all of you people, are a big piece of my pandemic survival puzzle.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for Song Fight too, and to you JB for keeping the lights on and everything else, and Spud and fluffy for all they do and have done as well, and of course the great community of people past, present, and future.

I'm grateful to be able to see my family today, even if it was outside and at a distance. And I'm grateful for Erin, and JJ.

OK, that's more than one thing, but, it's all true.

Thanks to both of you and all the folks who help run this great place. And all of everybody who has or is making music for songfight. This place is great.

I forced my kid to say something we was thankful for before lunch...because I'm on 2nd shift today and we did thanksgiving lunch and not dinner. So yes, that tradition is alive and well.

Anyway, I'm grateful for this place! Such a great platform for everyone to come together and indulge their musical explorations in a fun, low stakes competition format! Best site on the internet.

I’m also grateful for this community and all the people in it, and especially everyone who puts in so much hard work keeping it running. I’m stir crazy, anxious, isolated, and depressed all the time but it helps my mental health immensely to feel connected to other people making music all around the world, with stuff happening on a schedule to be excited about. Thanks, everyone, keep being awesome and weird.

I am also thankful for Song Fight, and all of the amazingly talented people I've come to know through both this site and other music communities I've become a part of as a result of Song Fight. Not to mention the many of you who I've come to regard as friends.

I'm also thankful that I've ended up at a fairly cushy job at a company that values its employees' happiness over pure profits.

Also, I'm thankful that the orange turd is fucking over with.

I think those of us outside of the USA are thankful for the final end of 3 centuries of UK/US capitalist hegemony as the USA decends into farce. We look forward to a Chinese and European inspired socialist future
