I am working on a song that would be nice for a 60s beat group. It has some handclaps (optional challenge).
The final mix will be send through a mono tube amp. It's retro time!

I finished mixing mine last night but will sit on it to see if there's any changes I want to make, but I think it's pretty much done. I tried something new this time around with recording and recorded all my vocals with my iPhone and the wired apple headphones using an app called Voloco. I'm surprised with how well the recording quality sounds and will definitely be using it again in the future, I think next time I will record the main vocals with my old school pc/condenser mic set up and backing vocals with the iPhone. The app has a lot of vocal processing settings so it will be fun to play around with more of it in the future!

I'm in too. Last week I tried to write a mixed 3/4 and 4/4 song and failed to come up with anything good. This week I tried to write something with a single time signature and end up with a decent song with both 3/4 and 4/4 parts, go figure.

In with a little ditty, exploring the idea of falling for someone without having seen their entire face, or being within 6 feet of them. (The pics of that contest were helpful). All my drums are technically electronic so experimented with mixing digital style drums with analog style drums, which I have done quite a bit in the past. Hope you all enjoy.

A friend wrote some lyrics and we've recorded the outline of a song -- it's already well past the deadline, but I'll see if I can get something in before the fight is posted.
