Well I've got a beat and a bassline and it's not very melodic.

I'm doing my best to try and imagine it...

The Baker brother is too busy to make music this week, but I just got an M-Audio Oxygen Midi keyboard, so I'm going to submit solo this week with the entire song played on my new toy.

Had sometime today and did the track in one go. And submitted.
Hope I don't hear any big mistakes tomorrow. - You'll let me know.
It's the first time I mixed French and English language.

Whelp, one day late. I was gonna record my keyboard solo today but lost some time cause I had a boy scouts function. Prioritizing family over timely songfight submission like some kind of jerk.
I guess I'll record the keyboard solo tomorrow and mail 'er in.

I'm in after a very complicated trip to America to see family, with lots of tests -- got it written and only had a chance to record today. Relying on the fightmaster's good will. It's a tale of a plaster Sphinx head from an old indoor minigolf course we used to go to. My friends found it in a craigslist ad and a dude in a "Godless Heathen" t-shirt told them the whole story of how he salvaged it when his plumbing company went in during the demolition.

For some reason I can't post to the lyric archive. Anyone else had trouble with that?

Yeah I've had that before. I seem to remember that ticking some of the options boxes helped (disable bbcode / smilies etc)? But can't exactly remember what was going on.

Try to hit the "Full Editor & Preview" button before you type anything... that for some reason has worked for me when I was having trouble posting to the boards in just the Quick Reply box.

Edit: I still can't edit my Liner Notes post though.
