I've written a song and I think all the recording is done. But I've not even started to mix. Hopefully I can get most of it tonight and then finish it tomorrow night (with fresh ears.)

I'm in with what I think is one of my better songs. Sorry about the third verse lyrics, though; I've been reading War and Peace for two months, and it's slowly obliterating other sources of inspiration from my consciousness. (And Duncan, if you really want to know about the second verse: Today We Choose Faces.)

Night Sky is running late with a little swinging crooner thing, but hopefully we'll get it together before the fight gets posted.

Duncan is in with a toe-tapper. Climate themes, patronizing vocal delivery, fun cliches. My sister, me, and a couple of our friends brainstormed this one. Inspired by a ~1992 Sunday full-color Mark Trail strip about flash floods.

After listening to the current fight (If You Believe It) I was thinking that a lot of people have been watching "Get Back." Three times through myself. So far.

In a bit late--it took me a week to write the song to the point where I liked it and then I frantically recorded/mixed in a day.
