Round 1 LP will be delayed until about 10pm on Monday 6/5 - I have a meeting that night so I'll rush back but might be delayed from the original time. See you there!
I'm in already. I'm traveling the rest of this week, so I had to get this one done quickly.

finished lyrics and most of melody/song structure but still have to actually record most of it. feeling pretty good about it so far though. hoping to be able to spend quite a bit of time tomorrow and sunday to get it down. the good thing about nur ein is this deadline, I need to start giving myself deadlines on other projects I think.

I hear Moss Palace is restricted to only Vibra-Slap for percussion.

I don't know about "only".
Would a judge please confirm, there will only be one elimination this round, correct?

Yes. Only One. NUR EIN!
Also... please don't "ONLY" use hand percussion. Include hand percussion.

But it does specify percussion using only one hand right?
Nur Ein!

I completely forgot about Nur Ein this year. I remembered as I was walking home from work today. Oh well.

Hopefully, we can have some shadows from you.

Sending in now. Has quite a bit of hand percussion in there but mostly in the chorus.

I'm in, with generous use of tambourine!

I'm in. I was running out of time, so my song has no drums apart from the hand percussion (djembe, bongos, tambourine) I used. It sounds a bit unfinished to me. But I am very proud of my vocal harmony.

So, let me tell you about the Last Minotaur...
Vom Vorton put in a shadow. I said to him that him doing it made me want to do one. He said I should. I went about my day. Then at about 10:15, I said to Brookes that I should do a shadow and she dared me to make one by midnight. I did (basically).
Also... please don't "ONLY" use hand percussion. Include hand percussion.
Whoops. You're only going to get horrible amounts of tambourine and guiro from me. No drums
I wrote and recorded a shadow last minute today again. I started this with this zither my dad mailed me recently (we bought it on vacation in Hungary 20+ years ago and it's just been at his house since then) but it's not really tuned to anything, it's currently apparently somewhere between B and Bb, so I had to retune the other pitched instruments I added (bass and ukulele) to match it, and had to forgo keyboards, guitar (because I was tired of retuning) and Melodyne. So, uh, sorry in advance to anyone who is bothered by sloppiness, between the 100% human hand percussion, rushed timeline and the many mysteries of pitch, you're probably going to have a rough time with this one.

welp, I'm in. not feeling great about it but what are you gonna do, not compete?
clapping happened in the bridge and outro, but I put effects on it so it sounds weird. just because that was the mood I was in.

In Singapore, some taxis have little signs warning drivers about checking their blind spots. My partner pointed this out when I told her the title. So - warning about blind spots became my theme. But with handclaps instead of taxi signs.
Also... please don't "ONLY" use hand percussion. Include hand percussion.

Considering you just said you added bass and uke... I think you're fine. I just meant I didn't want to listen to a bunch of songs with JUST tamborine or something and singing. Hand percussion can be the only percussion if you'd like... I just wouldn't be able to "judge" 21 tamborine + vox songs is all.
