Malformed HTML on Home Page (Last Week's Fights)

The link to D. Sharkson's entry is malformed in this week's "Last Week's Fights" feature; as a result, some browsers (like Safari) don't show it as a link at all, and others (like Links) show the malformed HTML in all its glory.

Check the source code on the home page and you'll see what I mean right away. Basically you've got a closing "a" tag where you mean for a "greater-than sign" to be.

Thanks for keeping the site fresh; I don't like being the bearer of bad news.

 Yes, you'll frequently find me searching for the FRESHest:
  • Voyeur Markup: <i>They didn't know we were watching, but our browsers caught it all. </i>
  • Inter-case-ial HTML: <i>XML would say two tags of different cases were never meant to complete one another, but it's naughty freedom!</i>
  • Gangtagging: <i>Tag on top of tag on top of tag, in tag-team form. She'll keep stuffing EM inside her SPAN until someone's attribute explodes.</i>
  • Preggie Tags: <i>See first-hand where those child elements came from.</i>
It's too hot for TV. Unless you watch it on TV, in which case your mind is blown.

Man, I couldn't sleep last night just thinking about this. Got up this morning and fixed it first thing. Now I can have my coffee.

I hate when that happens. Sometimes, you gotta just get up and fix it, THEN go back to bed...

cause the image of ANYBODY spanking it to erratic computer codes is.... disturbingly hot. Thanks Spud, for upholding the moral fibre of songfight...yet again.
