Since I write silly Minecraft songs, this title was a little difficult to find an angle for. Then I decided to write a song as a compliant to Hypixel staff about how their updates generally don't seem to give the community what they ask for & how they just don't communicate in general.

In the past few years there have been rising incidents of accommodation earmarked for asylum seekers being set on fire by those who have fallen prey to the rhetoric of the right wing, with politicians like yer man up there fuelling the flames, so to speak. Plus some riots.

Woodbrook House is an estate house in my county, believed to be one of the main places where Jonathan Swift wrote Gulliver's Travels.

This song is based on a true story! Two weeks ago, students at Portland State, along with other community members, occupied the library on campus with barricades and tents. Out of curiosity, I visited the site multiple times, and every time I visited, people were being fed and taken care of. Now that it's all over, the media has been reporting only on the instances of property damage, so this song came pouring out of me, to remind myself and others of the profundity of caring for one's community.

New to this whole thing; had 2.5 hours after putting the kids down tonight to do everything, so really rushed for me, almost a skirmish.
