I didn't even know what that was, but I assume it's on mine since I uploaded it to Bandcamp & downloaded an MP3 version to send to the judges.

I have no idea how to do that, but I'll try to figure it out before Sunday this time. Is that part of the bounce process from the DAW (Logic Pro for me) or something added later?

You can add a handful of ID3 tags from the MP3 bounce setting in Logic. Just make sure you have MP3 both ticked and selected so you can see the ID3 button. There’s not a huge amount of useful fields in there though, so I might do the Bandcamp upload/download trick this time to get the lyrics in.

That's because almost no one says "Is This a Joke For You?" Regular people say "Is This a Joke To You?"

But that's how things be around here.

And wow! Looking at the lyric archive, it appears almost everyone got this "wrong." I originally did the same thing and then fixed it later on.

Will be interesting to see how the judges deal with that...

Okay, wait. Now I'm really confused because it say "To" in Niveous's post. But I swear it said "For" earlier.

Although in my id3 I've gone all Prince and stylised it as "2 u" cos I'm so hip and cool.

...can't it be both...? That was my plan.

I typo'ed the title as "For" when making the lyric thread, even though in the lyrics I was posting we had the correct "to". I didn't notice I had till Pete's post. I edited it to fix it. My bad!

To the judges: I know you like to see the lyrics, and I will post mine. But in the case of a song that has comedy, you may want to consider listening without reading first so the jokes aren't spoiled. I think my song works better when you don't know what's coming next. Just a suggestion.

In with a safety, and if I have time later I’ll get the rest of it polished off! Being without a computer has thrown me back into the days of using just GarageBand on my phone. it’s been an interesting extra challenge for sure! Sorry for the lack of id3- I don’t know how to add that to the file on my phone.

Anyway, I had a joke that didn’t end up making the cut for my song; thought yall might get a kick out of it- enjoy!

A soprano walked into a bar and said
I’d like a wine as fine as my head
Voice, rich and warm and full as my chest
Voice, one that stands out from the rest

The bar tender looked her down and up,
“If you’re looking for swill, then pee in a cup!”

Dunno about the other judges but I listen at least twice - once without lyrics (and songs get first impression points), and then the second with lyrics and that's when I review and rate the rest. To break ties I listen again.

Doubt it matters but I’ll be out. I had an idea and I had time but I had no enthusiasm or motivation to do another song that I really didn’t want to do.
