(Verse 1)
Life on the farm is oh so swell,
Working with my hands under the sky,
Selling my eggs to pay the bills,
I'm not rich but it gets me by,
(Chorus)
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
I here them sing all day,
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
We cluck our cares away,
(Verse 2)
Until my blast furnace went out,
My horse came up lame the next day,
And the bank rejected my loan,
I need ems now without delay,
(Chorus)
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
I here them sing all day,
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
We cluck our cares away,
(Verse 3)
I need to maximize my time,
To streamline the gathering process,
A complete redesign of the farm,
I need more space, but they'll get less,
(Chorus)
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
I here them sing all day,
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
We cluck our cares away,
(Verse 4)
Misery now sits in the air,
But ems flow with my cruel design,
Small cages with no room to move,
The dank gray walls with no sunshine,
(Chorus)
Fuck fuck fuckity fuck,
They won't sing from their crates,
Fuck fuck fuckity fuck,
Their eyes are filled with hate,
(Bridge)
What have I done,
Work used to be fun,
I go through motions,
Blocking my emotions,
I'd rather be in debt,
Time for a factory reset,
(Chorus)
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
I here them sing all day,
Cluck cluck cluckity cluck,
We cluck our cares away,
(Verse 5)
Now there's joy in my step again,
A calming peace fills my life,
Until the emeralds ran out,
And my lawyer ran off with my wife,
BAWK!

The challenging part for me was the title. Trying to connect it to Minecraft in a way I could make a silly YouTube video for it was difficult. I finally decided to write a song about mob farms in the style of a children's song. Mob farms can be really simple fenced in fields where you allow your animals to roam. Or they can be turned into complex automated structures that are more similar to factory farms than anything Old MacDonald might have had.
2nd round in a row I used the title in the song, but not really as prominently as I would have liked. However the entire idea for the song is because of the title, so it's definitely inspired by it.
For the mood change lyrically I think it's kinda obvious. He goes from a fun loving guy enjoying his farm life, to verse 4 (+ chorus after) running a factory farm & killing the joy farming brought to his life. Musically it's represented by darker chords & a raspier voice.
Song changes again at the 5th chorus as he moves back away from factory farming. Musically it's represented by Raising the key a full step to give it a more triumphant feeling and adding some synth choirs to make it sound more epic.
