Perhaps if the development of spacetime crystals is fully realized, it will be possible to restore this Earth to the proper timeline.

Chill Saint Chill - That beat sounds great through my kinda-tame studio monitors. The sweepy, sparkly synths appeal. Reminding me, in the good sorta way of listening to Coast to Coast am in a state of transcendental inebriation. With headphones on slightly vertigo-inducing however.
Distance - A swimmy exploration of time stretching. Pleasing noises and voices interspersed throughout, though I ultimately found the side to side oscillation dizzying, particularly with headphones on.
DrProximo - Good beats and instruments, specifically the tophits and the airy synths. I'm not really familiar with nerdcore, though I'm aware of MC Frontalot's fame, but this seems well done. Please, confiscate those crystals!
Berkeley Social Scene - Really pretty opening. I like how the two guitars are panned in the mix. Catchy chorus; I always enjoy a good breakdown.
Sweeney Toad - Righteous piano inclusion. Well. That was intense. Let me put my face back on.
Brown Word and the Big Whine - I heard this title and to be honest, it sounded pretty wild. I checked out what it was and, I don't have the mental capacity to go into it. I'm burning my brains on this creation I'm about to bombard Song Fight with. It sounds far out, and the narrator has apparently attracted the wrong sort of attention. Music-wise this opens and closes with space noises. I wanted something that sounded like Moonlight Sonata for the piano bit but its opening chord progression is where the similarity ends. The guitar could be stronger, but I'd had to take an involuntary break for a bit there, so maybe I'm back, bebbes. King Colon of WreckdoM said it had a good tone, it's Aurora DSP Rhino, default out of the box with the gate lowered, I mention because I've been immensely satisfied with their products that I've tried so far (free 14-day trials on everything).

The results are in and the fight has been won by ... Berkeley Social Scene!
