And that’s me out. Not doing that wankery . See you next year. It sounds a lot like last years “ Must include use of 5/8 meter for at least one significant part of the song” - which I also hurrumphed out of. I really don’t want to spend a week trying to learn how to do some weird music thing to make a song that I probably wouldn’t want to listen to.

Though - must admit - this year up until now, all of the titles and challenges have been excellent. Good job!

…but, whoever thought of this one needs to take a trip to the Hall of Mirrors and have a good hard look at themselves.

I enjoy these types of challenges. CR, why don't you do another Chat GPT co-production, or is that only for lyrics?

I was googling this morning good ways to pull this off, and the simpler ones (which I think I'll choose one of) is to just break it down in beats to a group of three and two groups of two, or two groups of two then three, like 1-2-3 1-2 1-2

Yes. That is very true. And in an earlier round I would be up for it. The sad truth is life is just getting in the way and I don’t really have time for another weekend in front of the computer. Have to go to Brisbane on Sunday for my daughter’s birthday (22!! Omg). And Saturday I have to be up at 5am to watch the Socceroos smash the Seppos. Too much on.

The time signature thing at least allows me storm off in a fit of dignified artistic pique.
