Anyone watch this?
If you don't, do. It's well worth it. Tightly scripted and well cast with Hugh Laurie (a British comedian) in the title role.

I love this show. It is stellar. Did you see the one where that dude tries to sue him and he totally works the guy with the whole STD angle?
Great great show.
and Hugh is brilliant.

I loved Neighbours! Poor Madge and Karl and Susan and... yeah. I had to stop watching when I moved to the states

This is a great show, mostly due to the strength of the lead character. He's badass in a modern, cranky, hospital-drama way.

Love the show. I had no idea Hugh Laurie was British until
he hosted SNL. I thought he was joking at first. He looks like John Holmes.

I don't watch this, but I've seen the ads, and I was highly amused to see the completely different character(s) that Hugh Laurie played on Blackadder.

I'm obsessed with this. I bought the first and second seasons. I have no money now. People knock tv a lot in my circle of people (i.e. assholes) but what I love about House is how god damn hopeless it is. There is character development, but you know he's just never going to be happy. You don't get that kind of doom in the movies very often.
