RxW and I walked out halfway through this turd.

Boy, I sure liked the TV show though. One of the best theme songs ever, too. Right up there with All in the Family, Jeffersons, Dukes of Hazzard, and the Incredible Hulk.

Speaking of which, where have all the good theme songs gone? Firefly was great. Cowboy Bebop, nothing short of amazing. Aqua Teen and Sealab, kickass. But what else?

i still haven't seen it... i guess i'll try to sit through it once when someone i know gets it... or rents it... just to see if it's any good myself...

What tipped the scale from "this is obviously going to be horrible" to "this is obviously going to be horrible, I already Fandangoed the tickets"? Was it the models stripping in the alley?

Well, you can hardly expect us to see just ONE movie on a friday night. I mean, come on. And hey, usually these horrible movies have at least some kind of redeeming amusement value. I can enjoy myself through almost any piece of dreck, somehow. Almost any.

But i swear, this was worse than "Welcome to Mooseport". And I didn't think I'd live to see the day. So far i've only walked out of a very few movies, and keep in mind that i'm someone who successfully made it the ENTIRE way through "Stay Tuned" and "Mom and Dad Save the World":

"Hollywood Ending", although we only walked out because we had to catch the beginning of the next flick-- but it was horrible enough to walk out of even if that next flick was "Taxi"...

"Bandits", omfg that was horrible

"Jingle All the Way"-- ok, I have no idea why I thought this would be watchable. But it was a saturday afternoon, and I was by myself at the mall, and I was bored. But apparently, not that bored. I only managed ten minutes of this one, and I actually got my money back. When you sign for your refund at that particular theater, they make you state a reason for the refund. and oh did I ever.

I know some people like these last two, but I only managed half a screening of "Casino", and three-quarters of "Carlito's Way". Ugh. We should really have gotten the hint about Penelope Ann Miller in that one, But noooooo we had to go see "The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag" anyway. Stupid. Stupid.

And we really should have walked out of "Cool World", but we were so stunned by the horribleness that it just didn't occur to us. and really, i should have dragged Shane out of the execrable "Die Hard III". One of my most hated movies of all time, up there with "What About Bob?" and "Drop Dead Fred". I swear, they were made just to torture me. but I did watch all of them, somehow, by exercising self-discipline and remembering my purpose in life, which is apparently to watch a lot of bad movies.

i liked "jingle all the way". if you don't like the story, you should at least be able to enjoy ahnold's delivery.

Dude, I remember when that came out on video it seemed that EVERY time I spent the night at a friend's house they would rent that for us. And EVERY friend whose house I was at hadn't seen it yet so I was forced into watching it repeatedly. God bless John Ritter... but damn.
