So, as I may have mentioned, I've been playing keyboards recently with this rock and roll band that goes by the highly specific name of The Subject. Their web-site is about twenty years out of date, but the mp3s are good listenin'. Anyways, here is a concert to which y'all are invited:
Friday, October 7, PA's Lounge, Somerville, MA. 9pm, 18+
The Beatings
New Radiant Storm King
us
Swiss Army
The club is in Union Square, hardly a stone's throw from various places which may have hosted Songfight! Live events within the past month or so. Especially if you are good at rock tossing. The Beatings are a swell rock and roll band; we've played with them before and it was a good time. Y'all may remember NRSK from way back in the 90s, if you are old enough! I don't know the last band but I am told they are math-rock and good at it, which works for me.
This ought to be a swell evening, good clean fun for the whole family, as long as everyone in your family is at least eighteen. If you live far away, you should take a three-week cross-country bus tour to get here and come to the show. Better leave soon! If you don't live far away, you could always fly out to California and get on a bus, I suppose.
