Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, probably the worst cover of an ABBA song ever recorded. Yngwie Malmsteen covers "Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!" except the singer changes the words to "Your love after midnight"

Honestly, if they had left the words as original, it would kind of almost work in a humourous/ironic way. But no.

You can count me (The BeWells) in for this one now. I don't quite know which song I want to do yet, but I cannot pass up the opportunity to do an Abba cover.

I can't help but want to get in with "Waterloo" if J$ would grant such a wish...

Okay, I've sent PMs out to everyone. There's a lotta people in this... The first post has been edited to include people I forgot.

J$ and Roymond: You two figure it out between you and just tell me when you've decided on a song. I'm not too bothered if you do the same song really.

Well, I don't mind giving up Waterloo, but Roymond, I guess Sven has first dibs on it (see post on previous page or so) ... it's there for the two of you to fight over.

I also suggested to the fine folk of High Density they do 'The Day Before You Came' as I think they could do it much better justice than I could.

Which leaves me ... out, I guess, as all the other songs I would want to do are spoken for ... No problem, I do too many of these things anyway!

Dude!! no way can you not be in for this one....anyone you'd like to even do a tiny collab with?

You can vocal my " I have a dream" any day....which should not be too taxing. Come on I know you can deliver real passion singing "I believe........in Angels"

If not that I am sure anyone else would love to have you in a little corner of their song.

I don't mind if people double up on songs. Just means we'll have different interpretations. It's all good :P

I only made the request based on the status page with you undecided between Waterloo and another title. I thought Sven was settled elsewhere. By no means do I want to upstage anyone, especially you. Not over Abba, at any rate :)

I just want to make sure that you are involved, Roymond, because you don't make anywhere near enough of your sweet music, in my opinion, whereas there's plenty to go round for everyone as far as cashpoint is concerned.

It's yours, I'll find another song.

Put me down for "Take A Chance On Me". I was also considering "Eagle" but that will probably put me back into a more folksy mode and I'd rather try something different stylistically this time around.

I neither condone nor condemn the downloading of copyrighted material. I simply point out that should one need to download the ABBA discography as backup for one's legally owned copies, one would find this torrent helpful: http://www.mininova.org/tor/162355

Sure. I don't mind if there are repeats personally. You just have to worry about being outdone by another person. I'd say try and find your own song, but if there's a song you reeeeeally want to do, work it out with the person that already has it. :)

If Jim Tyrell doesn't mind me doubling up with him I'd really like to do "Fernando"
