Help me name my new band!

Pretend for a moment that I'm not a soloist doing multitrack recording in my apartment and that I have an actual band. Pretend that I'm working on a new album, which is way the hell better than anything I've publicly released in the past. Pretend that I want a band name which actually works well for jazz and folky pop which isn't already taken by a one-hit wonder in the 80s. And pretend that it should also reflect my personality, while also not sounding silly when a concert announcer says, "And now, give it up for [insert band name]."
Pretend that only one of the preceding hypotheticals is untrue (feel free to speculate on which one).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I was kind of thinking "Fuchsia Plaid" (OMG, capital letters!) but that still seems a bit not-quite-it.
It doesn't have to involve the words "fluff" or "plaid," those are just the things which came to mind right away.

No more porcupines. There's a reason I stopped submitting stuff as 'fluffy porcupine,' let trikuare.cx expire, etc.

Jeeze, I didn't even notice that Ken had already suggested a similar thing to 'plaidypus' anyway. I must not be very creative.

Ken is on it...Plaidtypus, or your version. Pay him for that brilliant corporate identity work.

But Plaidypus is taken. granted, it's taken by a former mp3.com bandwhich hasn't got an actual website anymore, but there's still a shell of their mediocre emo crap at garageband.

Didn't you say something about it not sounding 'stupid' when announced on stage?

Sample output:
Dystopic Almost Perfect Flyin' Harmony
Agent Nodes
Infinite Moon
Blue Suede Reversals Of Fortune
Lost in the Midst (of) Humus
Satanic Matrix
A lot of the names it generates are silly, obscene, or nonsensical, but then it is my monster after all.

Strange how this just happens to be a combination of my username and my roommate's former username on SF.
