Yes congratulations...Seattle was like...my fourth pick in the NFC. Bastards.
I wanted these senerios:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Indianopolis Colts
New York Giants vs Indianopolis Colts
Chicago Bears vs Indianapolis Colts.
Start over with the vs belonging to the Patriots
Then try a few other senerios
THEN
Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburg Steelers
...
AT LEAST IT ISN'T
Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos (total sleeperbowl)

I got a manager working for me from Pittsburg, so now I'm torn...not really. This could be the KFC for all I know
But it seems fun that two underdogs are in the final. Wonder what the commercials and half time events (the important "family values" part) will be like.

Congrats to the Seahawks!
Should be a good game. Personally, I'd like to see Pitt take it, but it'd be nice to see a good guy like Shaun Alexander win it.
Here's one reason why. Go Shaun!

September 11, 2005 Predictions:

Yeah, I was way off. Thanks, TO.
Tom Bishop - Seahawks 31, Steelers 28
...no kidding.

Ahh...you guys must have copied that scenario from the Balmain Tigers v North Queensland Cowboys Grand Final of last year. The 2 underdog final is always a winner. (Unfortunately the Cowboys went all "Brokeback Mountain" on us at the last minute)

Puppy Bowl.
With a
kitten halftime show.
Do you understand just how cute and adorable this is? Way better than the normal Superbowl.

And.......
CUT!
This may be the first time I've ever watched a poorly coached and officiated game at the same time.
Seattle had their chances, but Holmgren never took advantage of them.
That "pushoff" call in the endzone
AND the touchdown by Roethlisberger were unbelieveably bad fucking calls. This is the same official who overruled the interception call in the Indianapolis game.
How this jackass made it to the Super Bowl is beyond me.
Congrats to Pittsbugh fans and all, but this game blew ass as bad as the "Stones" did tonight.

I'm not going to comment on the Super Bowl. Except that I thought the halftime show was way better than the general consensus seemed to be from other sites. I thought the dancing people hising under the tongue was really neat.

That incensed me. I knew it was (coming), and it (came), and nobody else at the Superbowl party I was at would even have noticed, if I'd not been cursing at the TV.

Oh come on, what did you expect?
"Oh, sorry people, it was a lyric malfunction"?

As stated, I knew what to expect. That made me no less irritated when it happened. But I was probably just cranky because I got lousy squares on the pool sheet.
Next year let's do a SongFight halftime party. Something like the Prayer For Pancakes thing, I'm thinking.

That's a great idea. Two lousy squares. Boo hoo. MY TEAM LOST.

I do feel bad for you. Well, as bad as a Saints fan can feel about anybody whose team actually made the big dance.

Heck, you can complain when your team loses four in a row!
Ok, maybe not, it's darn cool they even got to it 4 times in a row.
