Understanding the Stats page

Ok... I don't understand how this stats page works.

There are a few columns... obviously the first one is the page. It's the "viewed", "entry" and "exit" that I am particularily interested in understanding.

When I clicked on the icon in the upper right (the world with the zigzag behind and the arrow through it) it gave more information, but nothing that I could really answer my above question.

I'm gonna try to google an answer, but if anyone out there knows the deal, please deal!

EDIT: This gave me a better understanding.

I fully agree...whatever it is, it doesn't work at all!

Sorry... I fixed it... and it's here too:

...and then actually found an answer quicker than I expected... so ... uh... discuss stats..uh.

Like why is someone checking out "danger bus" a couple hundred times? Is that one person? A site linked to it? Anyone know how I can figure that out.. if I can? Much appreciated...

who knows man. there's a bunch of problems with those stats. and there's that one IP that it says has downloaded like 35GB worth of stuff. I think maybe the hits are all that's reliable on there, because the data transfer numbers don't jive with the hosting provider's numbers (thank the lord), which are much lower.

plus, the stats only run when i remember to run them.

To know for sure, you'd need access to the raw log files so you could check the "referer" [sic] header. I'd guess it's either a link from a web site (maybe a popular podcast page), or a member of the band emailing all his friends.

There's that, too :)
