Zero Effect et al

Hi,
Im new to Songfight - got coerced (at gunpoint) by Zero Effect (mr. prog rock himself) and the elusive chanteuse Maya into a collaborative effort. I was blown away by the warm reception of our track, references to a tune as timeless and catchy as the Sesame Street Themesong were flattering.
As is inevitably the case, I corrupted my New York partners with my retro inclinations (Im from Detroit where we are unaware of innovations in rock music since 1981 and handclaps, tambourines, and power pop guitars are de rigueur ).
Next week, I think Mr. Zero Effect and myself will go head-to-head with solo contributions.
Have a nice weekend,
