Straight, Gay, Bi, or None at all?

Just another in the series of demographics. It's anonymous so I figured it'd be o.k. to add.

If this is inappropriate, someone moderate this post.

Just curious.

I assume everyone will make a joke out of the "asexual" option, but it is a real thing in some cases, some places

I find this poll rather disturbing. Not for subject matter...oh no. I got no problem with that. No, it's the following two details:

1. 21 views at this time, only five people actually vote in an anoynmous poll.
2. out of the five, 2 hetro, 1 bi...and ...2 asexual??? What??? Stats Canada will have a field day with this poll.

... and is it weird that I'm actually slightly ashamed to pick "hetro"? What is the world coming to if I feel embarrassed at being sexually orientated to only the opposite sex?? I mean,I can flirt verbally with men, but then I feel like a 16 year old cock tease.

ah well. At least my friends think I'm bi. And my wife.

But I haven't been with a man. Well, if you don't count the time I was in the boys choir... but that's another story. Oh, and when I was 8 and camping...

Where were we?

heh

Well I try to include everybody and account for all possibilities, which was why I included Asexual...

Obviously disregard the "Asexual" option, and its votes. Seems to me you songfight community jokers can't handle it.

I'm unable to delete this post and make it anew, or edit the poll options.

It has been brought to my attention that assexual MAY IN FACT mean "unhappily married".

So I'm still Hetro. Whew. (cause I'm happily married. )

I think it's safe to say, go by your "thoughts" not actions, necessarily...to a certain degree...I mean asexual means you have no thoughts of sex and no libido, nor do you have any sexual partner.

A priest who commits to vows of celibacy but still has thoughts of sex with some sort of person, would not be asexual.

A guy diddler who diddles young boys would be gay (homosexual) in my book.

Shit, maybe i should've included "Diddler" in the options, too.

Note to diddlers/child molesters: ignore this thread, it doesn't include you. You are beyond any sexuality, and just flat out disturbed.

No, that doesn't count. Nor does the mandatory nudity and associated hi-jinx that comes with most male-bonding activities (after rugby/ice-hockey matches, 'camping' trips, bored saturday afternoons on the couch, etc). That's all normal and perfectly healthy.

It only starts getting gay if you start going to those clubs, drinking latte and listening to Pet Shop Boys, or owning more than two pairs of shoes...

Botolph, did you set the poll up wrong? I just voted and it should have broken the tie but recorded one vote each for Hetro and Asexual.

Maybe there's some admin hijinx going on here.

This is true. But see, I was in a different country, so all rules are off I believe.

Yes, I think no matter what sexual activity happens, I think it only means you're gay if A)it happens in your home country and B)you initiated it.

I mean, if a guy comes onto you, what are you supposed to do? Be rude?

Is heterosexuality so good that it needs to be offered up twice?

That's a rhetorical answer, using the precise definition of the word.

...of course, if you live in a country as big as Australia, in a state as big as Queensland - Rule A) becomes Rule A.1) ... your home city, municipality or shire. I believe that rule also applies in Texas.

oh..and don't forget Rule A.1(i) - a.k.a. The Brokeback Mountain Amendment.. It does get very lonely out on those cattle stations in the north-west.

hehe.

This is a mistake. I had only put it up once, and then it seemed the "asexual" option was dup'ing all the hetero votes....I screwed up something. I want to edit it to fix it but I'm not able to edit the poll, probably because votes are already in.

I was really, honestly just curious to see how our population lies, in this community, and the double hetero is a mistake. sorry.

Yeah, see...things out of context.

I was once naked at JB's house.

It's true.

if I'm uncertain about which hetero option to choose, does that mean I'm uncertain about the whole heterosexual "lifestyle" thing?
