It was a tough call, but I choose this one for submission to the Not Exactly Normal fight. So if you were thinking of entering, don't bother. You're not worthy. You couldn't beat a 20 second Epsilon Rising song, let alone this 4 1/2 minute monster. The singer sounds exactly like a slide guitar. Seriously, don't even waste your time. The fight's already been won.

"I speak from the fire and strike heavy with of the sword, in a chorus championing people long oppressed and long suffering"

I've often used those exact same words to discribe my own music. In fact, my new t-shirts read prayformojo: Speaking from the fire and striking heavy with of the sword, in a chorus championing people long oppressed and long suffering, and then below it is a picture of a bunny in a viking helmet.

May I also point out the "we do weed smoke weed" may be one of the funniest sentences I have ever read pertaining to a band's drug use.[/b]

Aha ha ha ha... that's rich. Still, he does name-check Maynard Ferguson. '80s kids is weird, heh. Good luck to him.

OMFG Blue look at this:

Look at that setup. The hihats are set up as crashes, the snare is way off to the left, the cymbals are like 20 ft high, the dude sits on a fucking couch, and they put that egg-carton bedding stuff inside the toms. And he's asking $750 for used Peavey drums. His description is fantastic as well:

"Nice set of Peavey drum set in great conditins. For only $750.00"

Wow.

well, it better come with the couch then. (it obviously doesn't come with a stool, unless you count the drum set as stool...get it..I made a poop joke there)

I didn't know Peavey made drums until today.

Did you know you can go to Walmart and buy a drumset for like ...I think it was just a little over $200?

Now, I'm sure it's THE crapiest drumset on the market with the bare minimums... but... it's still got to be a better deal than $750 for a used Peavey set. Unless Peavey makes better drums than guitars. (Considering their practice amps aren't half bad)
