My best on beginner is 12 seconds.
Intermediate is 98 seconds
Expert is 321 seconds (I haven't done expert very much though).

My best times are

Beginner: 14
Intermediate: 195
Expert: sometime around 200

i've only beaten intermediate once then moved on.

I haven't played Minesweeper in a long time, what with using a Mac and all, but I DO remember that my best beginner was seven seconds, and my best intermediate was something in the mid-fifties. Didn't play expert as much so I don't recall my best there but it probably wasn't anything special.

Get a random minefield where you only have to make one or two choices.

Edit: Good thing you blurred your name. I would have stalked you based on your minesweeper score.

I've adopted the rather bizzare playing habit of not laying flags. On small playfields, it's a big time saver.

And what can I say? I like some meager anonymity.

When it comes to Minesweeper I am fair at best. 4 seconds is WAY out of my league.

My crowning Minesweeper achievement is 190 mines on a 30x24 grid.

I tried over and over to get 200 mines and never did.
