It is so deliciously terrible that I'm going to have to listen to it again.

The best thing about this song is how you keep thinking "he's not gonna go any higher, is he?" And he keeps going higher.
I think the note he hits at 3:00 is exactly 3 octaves above his range.

Um.

Has anyone hear seen Thumbtanic? This reminds me of My Heart Is A Thumb

Yeah, this is really nice. I'd rather listen to this than any other version of the song I've ever heard.

...But is this "for real?" I can't tell!
It sounds to me like he borrowed the phrasing / performance technique from good ol' Bill Shatner...
("MR. TAMBORINE MAAAAAAAAN!")

From his blog:
"Sing lustily and with good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead, or half asleep; but lift up your voice with strength. Be no more afraid of your voice now, nor more ashamed of its being heard, than when you sung the songs of Satan."

Heh heh ...
If you dig deeper into his blog, though, there's video of him playing, and he's a decent singer. So yeah, this is either a joke, or done by someone else.
Still funny.

It's someone else. I researched a little, and found a blog entry on his site where he good-naturedly makes fun of this. He doesn't know who it's by, either.

I can't seem to find it, but there was a warbly version of Madonna's Like A Prayer on the internet that made me laugh out loud.

Junkie Brewster? (And if it wasn't, then at least do yourself a favour and listen to her Bohemian Rhapsody ... And by "favour" I mean "severe trauma")

I'm pretty sure I heard this song about a year ago under the title O Holy Nightmare ... seems a bit more fitting.
