I decided I'd just post some basic stuff about myself.

Alright, HERE GOES!!!

My name's Damien Verrett, I'm from Elk Grove CA, but you wuold know that just from my basic profile info. I'm in Highschool and I think I've been playing music since 4th grade, but that doesn't count because it was the school band and I don't remember anything I learned. I started playing guitar about two and a half years ago and I started making my own music last summer.

Uh.... I'm boring. I can't think of anything else.

So how does SongFight come into all this? Where/from whom/how did you find it?

It's hard to explain the site that I found out about this site on.

It's called Luelinks and if anyone has ever heard of it they'll understand why it's hard to explain.

If you've heard of it then high five, you're a cool dude. If you haven't... well that's just too bad : /

Someone from songfight must go to Luelinks because otherwise I'd never have found out about it.

Initiation. "Don't make us wish you hadn't found Songfight."

The old board frowned upon newbie introductions, all instances warranting "shut up and fight" responses. We carry a little bit of the old tradition, for fun. Well, not that we don't want you not to suck, but many of the hardened veterans are gone or have quietly deferred initiation to people that are much nicer about it.

Anyway, don't worry about it. Enter fights, try hard to make good music, etc.
