REPORTER: So what did you do in that week you were in Cell Block 1A?

JAVAL DAVIS: Hit the garbage cans, slammed doors, threw cold water, played the radio music loud, stuff like that. That's what I did. I just kept them awake, made life miserable. Put the radio up to the megaphone and play heavy metal music for like four hours straight, you know. That's it.
Some of the younger detainees, you know, they started liking it so you see them playing air guitar out of their cell door, you know, they're like "Yeah." So oh, God, I've got to change this. So I changed all that. I put in rap music one time.
It's like everyone loves hip-hop music, all the youth. So you see them bobbing their heads in the cell, so you're like "Oh, I can't play that." So then I settle with country music. They hate country music. That was the kicker. That worked.

My sources tell me that if the country music didn't work, Donald Rumsfeld was prepared to unleash his ultimate Weapon of Musical Destruction.....RONE RIVENDALE!!

The blame lies mainly with simple-minded, pro-American, jingoistic commercials.. sometimes with haute hillbilly titles. "Gitmo-ization" simply induces schizophrenia disgustia - psychic paralysis through exposure to sadistic people with bad taste. Only the strong disassociative psyche would be capable of surviving on Kenny Chesney, Montgomery Gentry and the like.

What kind of insane asshat posse came up with four years of Garth Brooks through a megaphone? Chappelle did this experiment, country music is relegated to the future fascists.

You would pick one of the worse country songs out there. No, I hate <i>that</i> song. Achey Breaky Heart is also a terrible song so don't go <i>there</i> either.
