The Song Fight Bulletin Board

Dear everybody,

Many moons ago we had a sidefight called "The One." To satisfy my Johnny Cashpoint wish fulfillment quotas, we're gonna do it again.

Title = One Two
Length = One minute, or as close as possible without going over.
Deadline = dinnertime on April 21st
Rule = By all means, submit more than one, if'n y'want.

Send songs to phil@tartpop.com & I'll put 'em up for Saturday the 22nd, otherwise known as my birthday.

There was a minor ton of awesome stuff last time, so, like, this should be awesome too.

Except this time I'm gonna submit on time. Hell, I might as well submit the one l did last time too... since it never actually got in there!!

Do you have to say you want to do this, or do you just do it, if you have to say you want to do it, then I want to do it, if you don't have to say, then I won't say I'll just do it... is that confusing?

(edit: oh yeah, i also meant to mention the eerie timing of this, since i was just looking for the original collection of tunes yesterday -- something about spud's official sidefight conglomerate page and thinking this should be linked up on there...)

I will do this again. This fight is a great vehicle for short experimental pieces. Fun! Ein Zwei!

I bought 2 cans of Diet Coke with that dollar! No actually, I think I put it in our son's piggy bank. That was such a fun sidefight, I'm so glad we're doing it again.
