Duels?

Post by Screaming Poet »

Just curious, I'm new and not sure if its ever been done. I know it's kinda weird cause there would only be 2 people per fight. I know the Nur Ein is going on right now but maybe someone could set up a bracket. (I have no clue how this would be done) You wouldn't even have to have a bracket. You could just challenge someone to a duel. I have no idea if this would even work or have any interest. Just a thought.

i have a vague idea sober irishman was involved in something like this. the best place to set one up might be on the irc channel, if you know how to get there. (try the songfight faq)

See if Sven will duel ya. I remember back in the day, he and Jon Eric did a Song Duel. The title was "Punk as Fuck...".

I'd have been interested if blue had suggested 'Jar of Eyes', but 'Wrapped in Leather' just reminds me of Turbonegro. (who I hate)

A very long time ago... there was a 'guitar fight'

NOW, it wasn't exactly a duel per say...but it sorta was. It was a shr3dd3r guitar player challenging other guitar players (ME) to a guitar playing duel.

It was a lot of fun until noses got out of joint and jargon was taken WAY to seriously.

I think this would be fun..but my opinion is this: only one DUEL AT A TIME so we can all keep up.

Sober is a good choice for a duel ...well because he's an arrogant good looking Texan who has boat loads of talent in various instrumental skillz.

I'm in Sober's posse...just picture me with dew rag and gang signs...who's up for challenging Sober Irishman...are ya man/woman enough?

*Hoblit re-emphesizes gang signs for effect.

I thought you were in on that particular inside joke.

Oh, wait.. I meant to say TATJ.

In any case, I remember the afore-mentioned <strike>cock</strike> guitar fight.
