Who is bringing a keyboard?

Is anybody bringing a keyboard that they can let me play on the live show and (hopefully) the practice space, on the condition that I don't break it?
I'm looking for a keyboard/synth that:
* Can make piano and organ sounds (not both at once)
* Has a "transpose" feature, so I can transpose on-the-fly (e.g. +4 would make a "C" note sound as an "E")
* Has a sustain pedal OR a sustain port (I can bring a generic pedal)
Ideally (but not necessarily):
* Doesn't have weighted keys
* Has a backlit display
* Has a pitch bend wheel
* Doesn't bust into rap beats when you tap the sustain pedal
Worst-case, I'll buy a lightweight MIDI controller and hook to a VST host on my laptop. It'll probably crash, but then I can make exciting facial expressions.
No QWERTY jokes, please (but go nuts on Dvorak).
Thanks!

I was going to bring my Oxygen8 and my SIDstation, though the O8 has no sustain pedal (which the SIDstation would ignore anyway) or transpose. And it's wee.

I've got a keyboard that might fit that bill. Perhaps someone will bring something even nicer. I will certainly not be hauling my Rhodes down there.

I've got a Korg X5 which is kinda like Jack's Kawai, only it's probably older and not as nice. One of the keys is chipped, too. Therefore it might be perfect for SF! Live since it will be functional but not so nice that Sober would have to worry if he were to drop it.

Does the venue have a grand piano? I seem to recall that it does. Am I properly-informed? I'd like to make use of it if so and if it's something we have to ask for.

If I drive, I will bring the ultimate rock keyboard rig. Motif ES7 through a Roland KC5. Loud and awesome. And maybe the Wurly.
And 'transposing on the fly' live is CHEATING. That's like using a capo for every single song. CHEATER.

If the venue has a real piano, I will most definitely be using that. Unless I can somehow convince Ken to bring his Rhodes.

If we end up driving I'd be game to bring my Ensoniq ESQ1 if needed. If we end up flying I would not, cause that's one helluva carryon.

Wuusssss, my rig weighs a good 150lbs in the case, not counting the giant amp. Wussssss.
I really can probably swing driving there. That would mean bringing the recording rig, as well as my guitars and the fuzzy amp. FEAR IT.
I'd like to make this three years in a row.

So just wondering if Jack ever found out about the Piano issue, since thats what most of songs will be, it would be nice if there was one.
Oh man, its so close! I should start polishing the songs a bit, havent played em since i recorded em

Also, who won the "my keyboard is bigger than yours" pissing contest? And is that person bringing their large manly keyboard?

Okay, so maybe this would be a good thread to ask in... is there anybody who'll be there Friday night who'd be willing to do some keyboard stuff for the KA band? organ / synth string or horn fills, whatever; doesn't have to be anything fancy and you'd be welcome to make up your own part if you don't like what I did on the originals...
PM me if you're willing...
Thanks,
Charles (KA)
