Try to remember that the threads we create stay around for years. It helps to have a thread title relevant to the topic. Also, try to start more pointed threads. If you want to just mention an issue and see if anybody has thoughts to share, try a more specific or perhaps relatively unknown issue that will picque interest in board readers. If you have a genuine interest in knowing people's political views, consider reading the already existing threads. They almost certainly mention Bush et al somewhere.
Just walking up and linking to some MS Paint harrassment of the single easiest target in the free world is probably not going to get you any slack from this crowd.
There are other things people don't like
Take Topical Humor for example. No really, take <a href="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i263/ ... jpg">it</a>.

Egg: I hear where you're coming from and respect the fact that you actually gave reasons for your position rather than bashing. I actually don't agree with the picture that I posted. I chose to post it purely for the fact that it is such an easy topic. I'm new, no matter what I posted I'd get shit so I figured rather than engaging in a topic that I truly care about, I'd weed out the mudslings from the thinkers. You all can take that as pretentious as you want but it was my thinking. . . atleast i'm honest. I do apologize for making a useless thread that will be around for years though. . . that just might keep me up at night.

I think the major issue everyone has it that you didn't make this apparent to begin with. The thread title and the contents of your post were vague to the max. Sincerest apologies. . . I found the picture online and my first reaction was, 'wow. . . that's stupid . . .' So I posted it on here to see what you guys thought of it. I personally feel bad for bush himself having been born and bred to be the most hated man in the world. . . . even though I am not affiliated with his campaign.
