<b>LIVE FIGHT: "All Tan"</b>

All sets are 15 minutes except for the three of you who are playing an Octothorpe song with me. I am splitting my 15 minutes up among you.

Ken and I have done our best to accomodate everyone's requested schedules as well as cut down on stage reconfigurations.

In order to get through the LIVE FIGHT, we will need to really minimize gear changes. Therefore, there will be one guitar, one bass, one keyboard, and vocal mics available. If you want to play your own axe, you can swap out on the same channel. A drummer will be supplied, except by prior arrangement with me.

Is "All Tan" gonna be a SF normal title too, for those of us that won't be at the show?

Man, 11 of the 12 songs I'm playing on will be over and done with by 7:45 Friday night! Early bedtime for the King!

If it matters, the KA pickup band is the "One Stand Knights," but if you're gonna spend time fixing something for me, see if you can get my "Tiny Town" into the archives :-)

Though Puce and I were going to share stage time (to save on setup/takedown time), I was hoping we'd each have a 15-minute piece of the pie (i.e. 30-min instead of 15 for the two of us together as Mostly Harmless).

Sorry if I somehow confused things in the superband thread. Is there anything that can be done to give us more time (even if it's not a full 15 minutes more), or is "thems the breaks"? Even 5 minutes more would be a blessing.

Thanks!

I believe that we will be able to accomodate you. However, awaiting further problems/complaints/conflicts/ommissions before reworking...

Just wondering if the guitar will be acoustic and if the Keyboard is the p90 i heard about (with 'dem weighted keys I love so very very much)

Also with the All Tan, is that something we have to do or only some will, or we dont have to but everyone is going to so id look like an idiot not doing it :)

You don't have to. You won't look like an idiot. But you still might kind of wish you had. (It's nice to get just a little bit more stage time.)

I re-mailed it to Fightmaster, indicating it was a "resend" but it's also available at:

Oh, so do we get to do our 15 minute set AND the live fight song? Cause I am in a serious dry spell in terms of writing songs, so I dont want to take any of my time up, but if its a little extra, ill definitely try to muster up SOMETHING. Thanks!

Yes, the live fight songs all get done at the end of the show Saturday night, and that doesn't count against your fifteen minutes. Not doing a live fight song does not entitle you to any bonus minutes in your set time.

Timetable looks good to me :D

"The Dirty Hearts" could be one of the shortest-lived bands in history. It looks like we're going to meet, rehearse, perform, then break-up - all the space of about 6 hours!

brody's slot looks good to me. but with the amount of rock we're bringing, i hope we don't make the live fight anticlimactic

also, i just personally want to thank you spud (and you ken) for doing all the scheduling logistics. it took a huge monkey off my back.

also...i'm back in santa cruz now, and i'm happy to say the airports were a breeze today coming back from the east coast. no problems at all.

also thornberry, there will be at least one electric guitar setup. optimally 2.

It's all good! Fifteen is not a satisfyingly large number of minutes, but that can't be helped, so I'll save the complaining for my crack team of psychologists. See you folks in a few days!

Oh. Thornberry: I'd guess that about half the bands, maybe a bit more, will have something for the live fight at the end. Attendance and attention will be at maximum levels for the live fight, though, so it's worth trying to put something together.

Hoblit has declined to play a set. He may be supporting others, and with any luck will rock the live fight.
