Audio Driver Issues

I recently purchased FL Studio and the demo was working fine, but now that I've activated it I find taht I can't run it and Krystal at the same time. Whichever I open first runs okay, but it's like the first program opened locks up the driver so that no other program can use it. I'm using ASIO drivers. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any ideas as to how to remedy this?

Try selecting "auto close device" from the Audio Settings in FL (and look for something similar in Krystal).
Might work.

2 devices can't use ASIO at the same time, typically.
are you playing stuff in FL realtime? try using the normal windows driver in FL.

I've been using Krystal to record everything but the drums. Then I leave FL open so I can make adjustments to the drums as needed, and then export to a wav file for Krystal to use. The odd thing is, I was doing exactly what you suggest before, but when I bought the reg-key and registered it, I started having the driver issues.
