Anyone heard of this? I found a couple ebay listings with pics/descriptions, and it seems pretty nice.

Reason I'm asking, I saw one in the local classifieds for $700CAD, can't seem to find any info online about them, though. I need something like this for 'real' drum sounds without noise violation fines.

[edit] here's an amzon link: http://www.amazon.com/Lloyd-Audio-Digit ... B000FU3DW2

$579US + shipping, new. Add shipping and change to canuck funds, probably works out about the same.

Looks like a pretty straight-ahead copy of the Roland TD8-s, which isn't too bad. The mesh triggers all around, including the bass, will give a reasonably real feel.

My concern with some of those kits is how well the pick up rolls, and how well they pick up dynamic triggers. Honestly though, I think that's probably the perfect kit for you. If you don't like the sounds that come on that brain, you can plug in your own, and it can probably sample, too.

Lloyd Audio LA7000 manufacturer info, anyone?
