How could you have forgotten The Clangers?

(Oliver Postgate has a lot to answer for, but he redeemed himself with Elastic Planet.)

Fingermouse, anyone?

Fingermouse? Don't mind if I don't. There was always something rather ... disingenuous ... about that black-gloved hand ....

The others are pretty much before my time ... but ah, Mr Benn. [facetious] they only made eleven episodes, you know [/faecetious]

You're even losing me with that lot - although I do recall Capt. Pugwash. I was more of a Basil Brush man myself.

Speaking of drugs - Bill & Ben and the Magic Roundabout - what were those dudes on?

Magic Roundabout was the best! Although the movie looks terrible. They have explosions and some new character and urgh. I wasnt my nice quiet doo-doo-doo-doo-doo.

I've seen Bill and Ben on those I love the insert-year-here things, that also looks liike some crazy stuff(if a little before my time ;)) Friends over here got awfully confused when I start speaking like... that.

Where are you from Bjam? It doesn't sound like you're a native of Philadelphia PA.

The thing to remember about Captain Pugwash is...none of the stories you hear about hidden sexual content are true. There was no 'Roger the cabin boy' and no 'Seaman Stains'.

Basil Brush is back. New actor doing the voice - the previous one died - but doing a damn good impersonation. He's now in a surreal children's sitcom, which ought to be dire, but last time I saw it, there were a lot of right-on jokes about incomprehensible rulebooks, and the morons in suits who treat them as sacred.
