Here's what I've got so far for "A Woman On Paper". PM if interested in working on this with me (I just wanna sing!).

The uber-demo is at http://www.philwages.com/music/awomanonpaper_demo1.mp3

The fills in between the singing is totally ad lib and can be changed completely or adapted to be better. As you will be able to tell quickly, its so very very rough, so don't forget your imagination! I'll post better demos if/when I get 'em.

Here are the lyrics with the chords that count:
A Woman on Paper

VERSE 1
D
she was born with feminine parts
F#
my how she was torn at the start
C A# A
she couldn't stand to play this part

CHORUS
D B
she's a woman on paper
G A
a lil' silhouette of peace
D B
places her mind at ease
A G G/F# A
she's a woman on paper (at least)

VERSE 2
in dad's closet at young ages
found a magazine with scented pages
i leave it up to you to guess the rest

CHORUS
she's a woman on paper
a lil' silhouette of piece
places our minds at ease
she's a woman on paper (at least)

Not knowing of this David McCormack, I've looked him up and downloaded some MP3s (freely available!). I haven't listened to it right now, but I'll check it out soon.

Do you mean it *sounds* like him?

I once beat Dave McCormack at a pub trivia night in Fortitude Valley.

...but yes - it does sound a bit like him.
