Yawo

I just saw a band called yawo at the UW Madison Union last night. Yawo is a guy from togo. Which is in Africa near Ghana. They played some awesome reggea, ska, and world beat. Man it felt really good being there. He was just up there smiling and singing.Lots of what he sang in english was highly political but even some of my more conservative friends seemed to enjoy it. So I bought his cd Take Out the Fences. Its fucking Awesome.
