Hey, I'm moving from KS to Cali on Wednesday (24th of Jan). I'm moving in with my net gf that I've been with for the last 3+ years. She has a computer but no net as of right now. I'm sure we'll get net but it could be a month or three so for now this is goodbye SF.
Don't cry please.

How is she your 'net gf' if she has no net?

Well. After a while, the relationship must move beyond it's state of
net existence. There are
certain places that help make the transition easier for those net couples to break into
the real world (not like in the John Mayer lyric), which can be a challenge.
wth.

Maybe his gf is a cheerleader for the New Jersey Nets and she just makes a really long commute.

Billy: It's a small town called Fort Bragg. It's close to San Fran.
Everyone else: She hasn't had net since September but when she got a new cell phone she mailed me her old one and we've been txting day and night ever since. So that's how!

That's cute and all, but she is 36.
So if you want to flame intelligently (there's an oxymoron), you'll have to try something else.

I am confused. Is that supposed to be a comeback to the spring break deal?
(p.s. my money is on Nigerian widow.)

Hey. Didn't you say good bye? Jeez. Maybe in your signature you could add "1 good-bye post ... 10 messages repeating the good bye before I actually leave because I posted an absolute statement a week before I actually left so people could talk about me... which just may be my favourite past time... and I certainly can't take a joke as the closest I ever got to being on a team was when Wilt made me #1879"
Or something like that. You choose.
... I'll also assume, judging by your rather witty retort that she IS Canadian, and you DO only get to see her on spring break.
Touche !
Heh. My Firefox spell checker wants to change that to "douche". Possibly not a bad idea.
Rone. I don't know you. However you are fast becoming the favourite person to rag on at SF, and I suspect that nothing less would suffice for you... enjoy. It's all for you baby, all for you.

Aren't you in your 20's? Fort Brag is a military base, right? I'm in Southern Cali, about 8 hours from there.
But seriously... I'm worried about Rone

Rone, good and bad-natured ribbing aside, I'm a little worried on your behalf. Have you met your dream gal "in the real world" prior to making the rather serious decision of moving in with her? Perhaps it would be best to move to her town first, then, if things continue swimmingly, you could "take it to the next level."
(I don't know why I feel compelled to act as the concerned parent here, but I do.)

hmmm. I don't spot any bad natured ribbing. Maybe I'm just desensitized.
You know, maybe it's like an SF collab...they made some beautiful music together online, and now they're gonna do a live show...
...didn't he say something already about having met?
And I liked the New Jersey Net's joke. silly.

Ribbing aside, I totally agree with anti-m.
