Mahler
I can't stop listening to Mahler right now. All of the San Francisco Symphony recordings with Michael Tilson Thomas are awesome.

Well, the 5th is probably the most popular. It's very brass-heavy and these recordings are just brilliant in that regard. Yesterday, I was really digging the 6th, which has really crunchy angular strings in its opening theme.
All of them are a bit of a time investment. The last movement alone of the 6th Symphony runs over 31 minutes!
Sorry, no links. I started downloading them from eMusic.com when I had to sign up for a free trial to get a very specific piece of music not available on iTunes.
